For this final week of National Poetry Month, I’d like to introduce you to a wonderful poet that I met back in 2011 when I started my journey into a writing career. I’ve wondered when she would finally publish and as of March 24, 2015 she has. Her first publication “Yo’ Sista’s Keeper: A Collection of Poetry, Short Stories, and Other Stuff” is a great collection of some of the most profound and amazing poetry and stories. The book is now available for paperback purchase on Amazon.com. The ebook is forthcoming.
Yo’ Sista is a SPOKEN WORD artist, poet, and visual artist who promotes self-worth and brings awareness to community issues on the stage, the page, and the canvas with a unique boldness that is unmistakable to her work.
From Center Stage to the Georgia State Capitol, Yo’ Sista is spreading her word. She is the visual artist for the original House Of Rhymez TV crew, has been invited as a guest on several radio shows, and has performed alongside poetic GREATS in various venues in the Atlanta/North Georgia.
She is the author of “Yo’ Sista’s Keeper, A Collection of Poetry, Short Stories, and Other Stuff,”which is available for purchase on amazon.com.
Please sit back, relax and turn up your volume. I give you, Yo’ Sista.

May destroy your immunity to human emotions.
All poems must carry a Government warning. Words
Can seriously affect your heart.”
